Pirate Daze are coming!

Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze are coming soon to Westport, WA, June 28-30. From what I’ve heard, It’s the biggest pirate festival on the west coast. I’m busily making pouches, tricorns, baldrics, eye patches, treasure maps and more booty in preparation for this high seas extravaganza.

My entire family lives in Westport, and every year they tell the tales of the invading pirates, and I’m excited to be a part of it. A friend of mine went to town sewing authentic period tunics. She used to be a costumer, so I’m looking forward to seeing them. Should be a fun time. Anyway, back to the treasure maps and tentacles.
